Description
We have a secondhand relationship with nature and live in our organically man-made reality by picking out the parts we like best from messy ecosystems. Natural Resources, featuring artwork selected by Laina Karavani and Benjamin Peterson, addresses how we know the world by copying and embellishing it; describing plants and animals in ways that are comfortable to our natural landscape of buildings and pavement.
Evaspace is a Brooklyn based project which promotes emerging artists in the community through a series of group shows. Combining multiple mediums encourage the creator and viewer the opportunity to evolve and connect socially. Please join us for the Fall kickoff, an evening of art & entertainment where galleries and organizations from Williamsburg, Greenpoint and Bushwick have transformed a new construction into an artistic oasis.
