Beton Builders, a New York interior design and construction firm, had always marketed itself to architects, with an angular, monochrome look. With its own architects, designers and builders, it wanted to sell directly to homeowners. Working with the firm’s owner and the head of Madzik Agency, Graham rebuilt the brand around photographs of the firm’s finished spaces and an approachable voice.
He started with a simple, bold new logo and built everything else from it: the public website; a client site with images, video, architectural drawings and progress reports on each renovation; and an easy content system for the project managers, with drag-and-drop image uploads, built with a developer in Washington, D.C.
He also set up the firm’s Facebook and Twitter and taught the staff to run them, designed and coded Flash banner ads for Trulia and led the media buy, ran email campaigns, and designed the print: business cards, invoices, purchase orders, proposal templates, T-shirts, a brochure and a holiday card. He wrote the copy, too.
