Columbia’s Giving Day is a 24-hour campaign in which the university’s schools and departments compete for the most donations, and the leaders win more of the matching funds.

Graham designed Columbia’s 2014 Giving Day at Story Worldwide, and Columbia hired him as an independent consultant for 2015. That campaign raised $12.7 million, its best to that point.

For 2015, Columbia wanted to feature people doing remarkable work in their fields, and the good that donations make possible. Graham set the tone of a refined master of a craft: people who don’t seek the spotlight but do inspiring work. He made the website, the logo and the print, helped art-direct the photography and video, and directed 48 social posts released over the 24 hours.
