CoSourcery was an online community where makers shared what they knew, in articles on everything from gardening and baking to aquariums and home recording. Graham’s redesign introduced it as “a collaborative maker community where you can learn, explore and contribute on articles you’re passionate about.”
He began in December 2019 with the article card: a photo, a title, the date, a short summary, counts of comments, edits and tags, and a bookmark, with the headline tried in two typefaces. In June 2020 he redesigned the desktop site. The new homepage opens with “We are CoSourcery.” beside a sprout in a mound of soil, with buttons to find an article or create one, then tabs for popular, latest, updated and bookmarked articles. A Topics menu drops down as a grid of color-coded tiles, each with its article count.
He also drew a new logo, with a four-pointed star in the O of COSOURCERY, a mark of four figures joined around that star, and gray icons for the cards’ comments, contributors, stars and bookmarks.
