Paintings on Wood

Paintings on stained wood in three sets: clouds that hang an anvil, a van or a piano, faces drawn in black and red, and birches.

When: 2009
Medium: Paint on wood

Paintings on stained wood, in three sets. In Clouds, one cloud hangs an anvil, a van or a grand piano on a string over another. Faces are portraits of older men in black line, marked with red crosses, circles and bands. Trees are white birches standing on red ground.

Three of the faces have titles of their own: Carpenter’s Apprentice, Oyster Stew and Tuscan Raider.
