For a weekly game of H.O.R.S.E. with friends, the hard part isn’t the shot. It’s finding a time that works around everyone’s kids. Bricks includes a planner for that: each player marks the times they could play over the next two weeks, and the overlap shows up in pink.

Players start a game on the spot or plan one for later. Everyone joins from their own phone with a four-letter code and records their own misses. When a player is out, every phone plays the same sad trombone, and the winner gets a fanfare. Afterward, a recap is ready to paste into the group text, with one tap to play again.

No rankings, no leaderboards, no shot charts and no referee. Players keep their own score, a friend without a phone can be added by someone else, and nobody needs an account or an app download to play.
