At the end of 2011 Graham designed a label for Beaverkill Brown, a brown ale from the Catskill Brewery. The idea was a kind of family crest: a trout with antlers. He made it a brown trout wearing a deer’s antlers, leaping across a pale outline of the Catskills and a sunburst, under the name in red and brown slab-serif capitals, inside an oval band that reads Brown Ale and The Catskill Brewery.
Earlier versions on the same artboard set the name over the map alone, first in outline letters, then on a gray-green band that reads Good Beer. The finished art was also set up as a T-shirt logo.
