Gimlet (Gimlet Media Group) was a small film company in New York; a later version of its logo reads Gimlet Films. Early in 2011 Graham gave it an identity: Gimlet in a loose handwritten script, often beside the grinning face of a ventriloquist’s dummy, drawn in white from a photograph, on dark pinstripes.
The business cards pair a charcoal pinstripe front, with the script tone on tone, and a white back with a band of gray pinstripe. The website comps, that April, keep the same dark cloth: a large player for the newest film, a grid of the company’s films, and pages for its makers, clients, client area and contact. Graham is one of the three makers on the Makers page.
That fall Gimlet’s site moved to the design Graham made for Madzik and RFHX, and Madzik listed Gimlet among its directors.
