Entry 1 Media, or E1, was a music company in Amsterdam with its own label, E1 Records, and a small roster: the New York band Etro Anime, JC Milo and Jubei. Graham’s studio, ARTPaRC, made its website and signed it on the entry page.
The site is all Flash, 720 by 540, and opens in its own window from the entry page. A club crowd, toned deep blue and crossed by red bars, fills the screen under the name, and each section opens beside it: news, the artists with photos and bios, tracks to play from their records, columns and playlists, a gallery of photos from shows, a timeline of the year’s events, partners and contact, with a sign-up for the email list on every screen.
The first version dates from the summer of 2001. By 2002 the site had added the Us and Gallery sections and a year of events, from E1 at Midem to Etro Anime’s debut album and European tour, and in April 2002 a plain HTML form stood in for the email list while the site’s own sign-up had problems.
