At Story Worldwide, Graham worked on the interaction design of SEI’s website, in its section for private banks. The SEI Wealth Platform, SEI’s system for running a wealth management business end to end, got a page of its own: one long, dark scroll that opens on turning gears, then gives each part of the story, the move to the platform, growing faster, the power of integration and the team, its own 3D stage, with one of the platform’s leaders standing on it.
His UX notes set out how the page moves. The navigation is always there: it starts large and shrinks as you scroll, and as each angled divider scrolls up, it fits around the bar like a puzzle piece and pushes the old background away. The transition section walks through SEI’s seven-step process, from discovery to support, and the notes try several ways to show it.
That fall came a case studies section, four stories of firms that moved to the platform, shown as a list and as a grid of cards, and concepts for a cover wrap on the December 2014 issue of Fortune: Stop guessing. Start knowing.
