Turf Town was Graham’s idea for a game played on a city map. In the spring of 2015 he made its logo, TURF TOWN in heavy white capitals across a square of grass, and put up a holding page at turf.town where the logo fades in.
That October he designed the game screen and a map style for it. A red line traces the player’s path across a pale blue map, points add up at the top, and you can play solo, against friends or against everyone. The map style, built on Mapbox Streets, turns Manhattan quiet: white streets on pale gray, green parks and blue water.
